A watery weekend

Hi everybody,

This was the best weekend EVEROne day I went out in a canoe on Llyn Tegid, the weather was sunny and windy so I didn't get hot as my humans did all the work.  We had a picnic on a big beach where I was able to scamper around and use up lots of energy. The views were fantastic but on the way back I had a snooze because I had used up so much energy running around on the beach.

Lunchtime

Just checking the canoe is OK before we set off !

I had a rest for a day then the next adventure was sailing, there wasn't much wind so I was able to walk around the boat.  I even had a special part of the boat where I could go and have a drink of water and a lie down.
I've added quite a few photos to show you the boat !

Not much wind so a chance for a snooze.

A lunchtime swim and a chance to keep cool.
Finally, back down the lake and a long snooze in the shade of the sail...

Training for humans

Hi folks,

I've managed to get my humans to go to what they call "Puppy Training" but I know that it is all about me getting them to understand what I want to do!  The first week was very interesting, I can get the humans to give me treats whenever I want; all I have to do is sit and look cute, run back to them and look cute, play with my toys (and... you've guessed it - look cute)It really is very easy although the other pups are all much bigger than me and I was a bit worried about this when I first went to the classes.

I'll let you know how the training is going and try to get some pictures, I have some home work to do before the next class so I'll have to go now.

A day at the seaside - Y Gogarth

On Tuesday I went to the seaside with my humans and as you will see from the pictures I had a lot of new experiences.  The weather was lovely and warm, perfect for a day at the seaside.

My first adventure was a ride on a tram, this went up a steep hill with beautiful views for humans and wonderful smells for me to enjoy.

When I got to the top of the hill I had a short walk and visited an ancient mine.  This was really exciting terrier stuff because terriers love digging and exploring holes although I might have got lost in this one without my humans.

Just checking out the entrance before I head down the mine.

From the mine it was back up to the top of the hill and my humans showed me the mountains that I will be climbing when I'm older, these are some of the highest mountains in Parc Genedlaethol Eryri, the Snowdonia National Park.  They looked impressive in the sunshine.

And then, after lunch, on my next adventure of the day, a cable car!  This was turning out to be the most adventurous day yet for a small terrier. It looked very strange but as you'll know by now I'll try anything.
Wow, it was worth it!  I was able to see the sea and peer at the pier from a great height. It wasn't at all scary and I saw people in the other cable cars looking at me and waving.

Finally back in the town I was able to have a stroll on the pier and a close look at the sea before heading home for a sleep. It was a great day, I met lots of people who made a fuss of me and my humans said I was really good.

Where was I?

Just a short entry from Monday (because Tuesday was much more exciting!) - see if you can guess where my humans took me...

Clues; Romans, an elephant, a famous clock and a river that starts at my favourite lake.

A great view from the clock...

I wasn't sure about the ducks, they were very noisy.

My first holiday.

This was a  really good fun weekend. I went away for a few days with my humans and did lots of new things.  I went to the beach, I went for a walk up a hill with my Dad and  tried sailing.

The beach was huge so I was able to run and splash, but the water was very wet and cold.  It tasted funny so I decided not to drink any.

From the beach I could see some big mountains, they were so tall that they went all the way up to the clouds, when I'm older I will be able to climb the mountains with my Dad.

The next day I went for a sail with my humans on a big lake, it was very sunny and not much happened so I had a snooze in the boat, I had a very smart life-jacket to wear.

Because I'm very young I can't go for long walks yet so I climbed a small hill very slowly and had a look at the lake.  Here is a picture of me enjoying the view (and I got a treat when I got to the top of the hill).

After all this effort it was was time for a nap...

I'll let you know about my next adventures...
