After a slow start to the year I got to do some serious running with some mud but not as much as a young terrier would like. The Sandstone Trail in Cheshire featured on my runs to start the year off, with two quite long runs. This means that by the time of writing the blog I've covered the trail from Delamere to Tarporley and from Bickerton to Bulkeley. The weather has been exceptionally dry and sunny with only a couple of scampers in the snow.

There was no snow around on my Sandstone Trail adventures as you can see from the pictures.

The Sandstone Trail run was a long run of over 20 km (441 metres climbing) and much to my delight a few days later I was able to go out for another long run. This was my special birthday treat, a fantastic hilly scamper from Llanferres over Foel Fenlli and heading south on the Offa's Dyke Trail for 14 km and 555 metres of climbing. As you can see from the photos the weather was superb.
And back home for cake .....
Then, just a few days later
and finally a bit of culture...where was I????
.. I forgot to tell you I had a haircut today.
Wags and woofs,
